If You Ever Love Me, Love What’s Left of Me
I am a ghost, weighed down by countless cobwebs in my closet. I don’t want to cast my shadows over your life and risk giving you nightmares. Though I lack a heartbeat, I can feel yours in every embrace. Yet, in the quiet moments we share, you remind me that even ghosts can yearn for the dawn. So if you ever decide to love me, please don’t pursue the phantom I’ve become. Just hold on to the soul that is still seeking a reason to live, because perhaps your light is the only place where my darkness can truly fade away.
