The Minds Journal Private Limited respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users to do the same. As a platform that allows for user-generated content, we are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar global copyright laws.

This Copyright Policy outlines our procedures for handling allegations of copyright infringement and provides a process for submitting takedown and counter-notice requests.


4.1. Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise indicated, all original content created and published on The Minds Journal Community, including text, images, logos, design elements, and software, is the property of The Minds Journal and protected by international copyright laws.

Users retain ownership of any content they upload or submit to the Platform. However, by posting content, users grant The Minds Journal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, store, distribute, and promote such content on or through the Platform.


4.2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Request)

If you believe that content posted on our Platform infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the DMCA by contacting us at:

Your notice must include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
  • A link or location of the allegedly infringing content on our Platform
  • Your contact information (full name, email, mailing address, and phone number)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

Incomplete notices may not be processed.


4.3. Removal of Content

Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement claim, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
  • Notify the user who uploaded the content
  • Reserve the right to suspend or terminate repeat infringers’ accounts

4.4. Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you believe content you posted was removed in error or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected].

Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • A description of the content and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court (or jurisdiction where The Minds Journal operates)
  • Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original claimant files a court action within 10 business days.


4.5. Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright violations seriously. Accounts involved in repeated or willful infringement may be permanently banned from the Platform.
